The Samsung S3C2410 Processor is an ARM-based solution that allows seamless integration with Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 and combination key components such as memory controllers, graphics controllers, and power management. By having a more integrated processor, we are able to maintain the slim design and deliver more value for the end user without compromising performance. The Samsung S3C2410 provides high performance that rivals or exceeds other processors in many areas. In addition, the Samsung S3C2410 offers lower power consumption improving battery usage time over the previous h1900 models.

Many customers have expressed the need to safely store critical information. iPAQ File Store* is a non-volatile memory to store critical data, databases, and other important files. The data stored in the iPAQ File Store* is protected from being erased as a result of a battery discharge or a full reset. iPAQ File Store can also be used as an iPAQ Back Up destination.

back up and restore
To ensure protection of data on the device, iPAQ Backup is an application on the iPAQ Pocket PC h1930 and h1940 models that allows fast and easy back up and restore, selective backup and restore, scheduled backup, battery monitoring, password protection, and compression of the backup file. The selective backup and restore feature allows selection of the entire system, specific file, or database. Scheduled backup can be established based on defined time, date, or battery level. Scheduled backup and battery monitoring notifies the user with the option to accept, decline, or postpone the backup.
